Single stage cylinder regulators are leverless regulators with variable outlet pressure control. These regulators reduce the pressure of gases taken from the cylinder to the required outlet (working) pressure and ensure that this pressure is automatically maintained at as constant a level as possible irrespective of changes in inlet pressure. Single stage regulators are suitable for the following gases: oxygen, acetylene, hydrogen, compressed air, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, argon, helium and propane-butane. The regulators are equipped with safety valves through which, if the outlet pressure rises above the permissible level, excess gas is released from the outlet pressure chamber to the outside. Regulators have the same construction, but depending on the type of gas for which they are intended, they have different internal and connection dimensions. Connecting nuts for flammable gases have left-hand threads and are marked with a notch on the hexagon. In acetylene regulators, a yoke with a screw is used as a connection to the cylinder. The maximum reducer inlet and outlet pressures are marked with a red line on the pressure gauges.
